Parenting 7 - Shooting for the Mark - Raising Men ()

James Keen, March 20, 2012
Part of the Biblical Parenting 2012 series, preached at a Tuesday Night service

What are we aiming for in raising our boys to manhood? What should we teach our daughters to look for in a husband? In the 7th lesson in the Biblical Parenting 2012 series, Pastor James Keen delves into these topics. This lesson is largely derived from “From Boy to Man – the Marks of Manhood” by Albert Mohler. His article can be found in two parts on www.albertmohler.com

  2. Praise be unto God, from whom all blessings flow, and whom has given us His precious Word, a revelation from God to man about Jesus Christ and a handbook for living a victorious life in the same! I’m very thankful to have heard this message.

Honestly, I just needed to wash my mind with the Truth of God’s Word concerning this topic, for the world has indeed developed and promoted, with utmost tenacity and boldness, the lies of the devil. I’m glad that God designed the family the way He did: One (1) father and One (1) mother being consistently present in the lives of their children for the purpose of raising them up “in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.”

You have encouraged me. Keep preaching the Word of Truth, brother. I’m praying for you now that I have been awakened to the work that is going on there. You never know who will benefit from this ministry; I am from Bolivar, Missouri, a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, where Michael Calhoun pastors. I thank God for you.
