Parenting is a blessed stewardship given by God in which He calls us to raise up the next generation for His glory. It is full of unique challenges and blessings. Every child is different and every home will face their own struggles which makes providing a “one size fits all” model for parenting problematic. The Bible does provide us with truths that will lead us in the choices we make as parents, choices that can provide a lifetime of benefits for our children. There is a right and a wrong way to parent a child. God’s Word illuminates the minds of confused and sinful parents (which all are) to what is right and good, a way that will lead to everlasting blessing to all generations who come after us.
